My Story
Hi! My name is Yana, and I’m a dedicated and passionate holistic nutritionist based in Los Angeles and the creator of Berry and Bliss. For as long as I can remember, the world of food and nutrition has sparked my interests, guiding me on a path of discovery, learning, and transformation.
My fascination with nutrition ignited many years ago, as I grew up watching my mom and grandmother cook wholesome meals for our family. As I got older, I began exploring the food scene in Los Angeles and picked up a passion for cooking as well. I enjoyed tasting new foods and going out to eat A LOT.
However, after graduating college and entering the corporate world, I began to experience a lot of anxiety, which led to gut issues, skin issues, and a lot of unhappiness. This led me to explore the profound impact that food and lifestyle choices have on our overall well-being. In my journey to heal myself, I discovered that our diet is half the battle. Eventually I took a deep dive into the realm of holistic nutrition, which encompasses not only the foods we consume but also the connection between mind, body, and spirit.
My approach to nutrition is rooted in the holistic perspective, recognizing that true wellness extends beyond the plate. I believe that each individual is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to nourishment.
